Miura Partners and Educaedu add Emagister to the group

Miura Partners and its portfolio company Educaedu, a leading digital educational platform for training courses and access to the labour market, have acquired Emagister, the learning marketplace, to consolidate their leadership in the sector in the Iberian Peninsula, Italy and Latin America.


With the incorporation of Emagister, the project led by the founders of Educaedu, Fernando Bacaicoa and Mikel Castaños, consolidates its position as one of the main educational platforms that connect lifelong learning institutions with people aiming to develop knowledge and skills. Together they have achieved a strong international presence, offering their services in more than 20 countries – especially in Europe, Latin America, and a wide educational offer that exceeds 150,000 critical professional skill courses.


Emagister is a learning marketplace founded in 2000 in Barcelona (Spain), with a large catalogue of courses and training centres around the world covering all existing categories, present in 15 countries.


The founders of Educaedu, together with the expanded management team, will continue to drive international growth and strengthen digital capabilities. In addition, the new dimension of the group will allow to improve the service offered to educational centres, the user experience, and to expand the quality training offer. Both Educaedu and Emagister will continue to operate under their respective brands, maintaining their teams and integrating their service offerings.
