- A newly created role that strengthens the firm’s corporate structure and delivers financial and operational value to its portfolio companies.
- Martí brings over 25 years of corporate and financial leadership at companies such as Danone, Affinity Petcare and Agrolimen.
Miura Partners strengthens its structure with the appointment of Álvaro Martí as its new Chief Corporate Officer (CCO) and Finance Operating Partner, a newly created role that reinforces the firm’s organizational structure to support its continued growth with ambition and solidity.
His role at Miura will have a threefold scope. On the one hand, he will lead the growth and institutionalization of the corporate team (Finance & Legal). On the other, he will assume corporate responsibilities that have until now been managed by the partners of the Executive Committee, allowing the management team to focus their efforts on the investment business, portfolio management, and fundraising. In addition, Martí will act as Finance Operating Partner for portfolio companies that require reinforcement of their processes, technology, and the overall functioning of their finance departments.
In 2024, the firm made a significant leap in both business and scale with the closing of three investment vehicles -MIF I, MFIV, and Dent&Co- mobilizing close to €800 million in new capital to continue investing in business projects driven by transformation, growth, and innovation. Since then, in addition to building strong portfolios and continuing to expand its footprint across Europe, Miura Partners has strengthened its investment, operations, and corporate teams with the aim of achieving solid and sustainable growth, and of continuously improving its structure, organization, processes, and technology.
Martí’s appointment is a key part of this evolution: greater corporate structure, increased focus for the management team on the investment business, and enhanced ability to generate real value in portfolio companies, where Miura will continue to support management teams with an increasingly hands-on and operational approach.
Martí, originally from Valencia and based in Barcelona, brings more than 25 years of experience in financial planning, corporate strategy, and business management in multinational environments. His career includes senior leadership roles at Danone, Affinity Petcare -where he served as CFO- and Agrolimen, where he held the position of SVP Corporate Business Services, leading the group’s finance and corporate services functions. He complements his profile with executive education from the Senior Executive Program (SEP) at London Business School.
