Entrepreneurship is part of Juan’s DNA. From a historically entrepreneurial family, Juan is committed to and proactive with the team and the investment projects he’s involved in, always from a perspective of operations and growth. He is a family man with integrity who recharges his batteries in the snow or taking a swing on the golf course.
Before co-founding Miura in 2007, Juan spent nine years in the investment banking division of JP Morgan as part of the Corporate Finance group in London and Madrid, participating in some of the most important corporate deals in recent years.
Juan's career began with three years as a production and quality engineer in a family business that was founded in 1898 and acquired by Alcoa (Aluminum Company of America) in 1998.
Juan is an Industrial Engineer from the Universidad Politécnica de Cataluña (UPC), has an MBA from IESE Business School and has completed graduate courses at Harvard and Wharton. He was former Vice President of ASCRI, the Spanish Venture Capital & Association.
