Bianna and Miura Partners join forces and create a new rental business of waste treatment equipment

  • Miura Partners’ Impact Fund acquires a 20% stake in Bianna through a capital increase to fund the company’s expansion plans.

Bianna, a leading multinational in engineering, design, manufacturing, and maintenance of turnkey equipment and facilities for waste treatment and valorization, has partnered with Miura Partners to drive the company’s growth and to create Biana Renting Services.

Based in Girona, Spain, and founded in 1990, Bianna has a strong international presence, with four production centers and six commercial branches in Europe, Asia and Latam. In 2023, the company achieved revenues over €50m, with annual growth exceeding 20% since 2019.

Bianna Renting Services will offer a comprehensive rental service for equipment, turnkey facilities, and innovative solutions from Bianna, designed to provide access to the company’s technology avoiding the investment and concerns linked to ownership.

As part of this partnership, Miura will back Bianna in the creation of the new rental business and its future growth. The investment has been made from Miura’s Impact Fund, aimed at high-growth SMEs whose businesses have a clear environmental and/or social impact.

Bianna’s sustainable waste management and circular solutions contribute to reducing the extraction of raw materials, decreasing greenhouse gas emissions, improving air quality, and protecting ecosystems and biodiversity.
